What kind of troll named the towns in Newfoundland?
There's also a "Dildo" and a "Placentia" on the larger island.
Well given that they literally named the place "new found land" my expectations would not be high
Honestly, now that I know Pee Pee island is in the mix, I'm sold on a trip to Newfoundland. Dildo was almost enough to make that happen as it was.
Edit: There's campsites at Dildo Run Provincial Park, btw. Do with that information what you will, people.
There's also a town I used to live near called lawn . Also there's a place called bread and cheese
I live not far from Bear Wallow Hollow which in the local dialect is Bear Waller Holler. In my state we also have Fort Gay and the much funnier Mount Gay.
Yeah, I live near a state park named "Bong." To be fair, it was named after a person. There is also a Wang Town in Minnesota.
