Maybe it's a non-US thing, but here in Sweden GMaps will desperately force you onto roads that it has decided are highways or some other kind of "fast" roads I guess and it makes no sense.

Windshield wipers (that don't go SQUEEAK SQUEEAK & actually let you see out the window).

Also Slow bullets. It's a shorter story (novella) and it's a pretty nice idea/setting although some of the characters' decisions were really frustrating.

Loved it. I've read lots of his books, and this one was so different from the other ones. When reading it, there were more and more details that bothered me & didn't add up, but I just thought "huh, he's sloppy with details, he usually is so good about those things." So it took me quite a while to really see that something major was going on & it was very rewarding.
