I disagree, you can say kbin and mean either one and new users would still end up with a functioning account. It's much harder explaining to someone fedia.io is the same as kbin.
It is interesting. It might even help negate hivemind behaviour because your name is tied to your actions.
I agree it's an odd choice. I had someone I don't know reduce my post and all my comments about becoming a dad. It's been a hard choice to not go and reduce all of their stuff in return ¯\(ツ)/¯ which I guess is why is a bad idea.
If you click on the "more" button under a comment or link there will be an activity tab. In this tab you can see everyone who has boosted, favourited or reduced the post. I'm not sure if this a Is a good feature but it's interesting to see when someone decides to reduce all of your content for no reason.

Need a little bit of advice hopefully someone can help. I'm currently having download issues with steam. i have a game stuck at 99% with both the download and drive logo saying everything is downloaded and ready yet the download keeps going and slowly gets slower until its down to bps. ive tried for the last 3 hours. The same thing is happening with a rimworld update its stuck at 60% and the download speed drops to single bytes and then spikes for a minute. Anyone have any suggestions?
