Agreed, I was never into Batman stuff, with the sole exception being this show. It had a great style

Mustering the will to get out of bed in the morning doesn't in itself immediately achieve the things I need to do that day, but it's a first step in the process of getting there. Awareness and convincing people problems are real issues is a step toward potential solutions, even though on their own they don't immediately solve the problem.

I think this is the reason. With the mass de-masking in recent years and people saying the things out loud that they'd previously just keep to themselves, it's become more difficult to tell if people are being sarcastic or just are genuinely hateful and cruel.

I hate that this feels like the reason, but it does. I've lost a lot of people that I used to count as respected friends and peers.

Guybrush immediately came to mind but yeah, I can see the argument that he might not be indisputably "good" enough.

I want to say Bobbin Threadbare, but it always feels like I dreamed that game because no one else knows it, so probably doesn't qualify for being "loved by fans." Ben from Full Throttle is also probably still too obscure.

Does Indiana Jones' non adventure game fame count? I loved the Last Crusade adventure game.

I've settled into a routine of pulling the door open with the paper towel, flinging the paper towel into the nearest trashcan, and darting out quick enough without having to keep the door open with my foot or anything. Not necessary, but fun

Sound advice, now if only people would stop making posts like this bringing it back up so the people blocking it wouldn't have to keep dealing with it.

To be clear I don't mind Sxan and their thorn usage, haven't blocked them, but I can sympathize with people who just don't want to see something but can't escape it with everyone else constantly bringing it back up

Well done, looks great on the pup! Handmade gifts are amazing. My wife knitted me a similar scarf and it's one of my most prized possessions.

By hand. I find it relaxing and a good time to get lost in my thoughts or listen to audiobooks. It's also nice to just have some things that you do manually. I don't like the idea of a world where machines take care of everything.
