Finding new games/systems
  • Yeah, Reddit used to be my main source of information about more obscure rpgs because while videos are out there on YouTube, the search is really garbage and only shows the videos I want after searching it enough times and forcing the algorithm to realize that I actually want to see it. This is why forums like on Enworld and RPG.net are definitely the best method. No algorithm forcing you to only see stuff when it realizes you want to.

  • Walmart says it will raise prices due to tariff costs after posting solid first quarter sales
  • For the economic safety of the US’ citizens, we really need to figure out how to get rid of a president’s ability to put tariffs on anything. We’ve found out what happens when there’s nothing stopping a president from just pushing them out frivolously. They just should not be able to do this. If we need to put tariffs on anything, it needs to be something passed in the House and Senate. Slowing it down so people actually think things through like real professionals is the key. It should not be done by the president ever again. No exceptions. No saying “Maybe the next president can be trusted to not do this.” They can’t be.

  • Would you be okay with AI users?
  • Everything would get overrun by fake users and no one would feel like they’re really interacting with real people -even if they are- because all the trust would be gone. It’s just not worth it.

  • New Bill Would Make All Pornography a Federal Crime in the U.S.
  • It’s very obvious that people like that have never truly experienced homophobia or transphobia where they live. Otherwise, they’d realize what they’re actually advocating for by not opposing authoritarianism.

  • Anon abuses benadryl
  • Sure, it would make me sleepy but my skin would feel weirdly sensitive every time. I couldn’t get comfortable at all, and would feel like I didn’t get any sleep the next morning.

  • RecyclebIn
  • I don’t use it, but I’ve seen the video that a woman posted on LinkedIn of her sig heiling to prove that Elon didn’t make the “same gesture.” I’m convinced some people are just using it like regular social media, even if it makes them unemployable.

  • Cool Bean
  • I feel the same but with soda in general unless it’s one of the real sugar sodas. I do actually like sodas a lot, but only for special occasions. I used to live within walking distance of a Rocket Fizz and would get a couple bottles once or twice a month. They had a punch card, but I wouldn’t get punches very fast even though I was really close.

  • Trump orders Corporation for Public Broadcasting to end federal funding for NPR and PBS
  • No. I think almost all of his executive orders have been things only congress does. No one is really stopping him from pumping hundreds of them out whether or not they’re even allowed to work. Also, he’s trying to pressure a private company through executive order in this case. They can say “fuck no.” And they should say “fuck no.”

  • Corneal action.
  • My roommate is always complaining about his contacts drying or running out of new ones, and every time I cringe a little bit because I hate things touching my eyes. Even eye exams freak me out, but I only have to deal with weird things happening to my eyes when I get them. I’ve been trying to convert him back to glasses, but he won’t listen.

  • Meta Reportedly Lays Off At Least 100 Employees From Its VR Division
  • Facebook is both anti-privacy and also doesn’t believe in much moderation, both of which make VR dangerous if an entire family uses it. I don’t believe VR should be something only adults can use, but there needs to be some really good moderation. Otherwise it would just be overrun by sexual predators and edgelords.
