Last time I tried it, I wasn't impressed by what I saw. Besides the ridiculous system requirements, it just felt so weird. They spent all this money on this game and the NPC's just stood there, on chairs, on tables etc. not doing anything.

IMO it's largely a consequence of the center-left and center-right (Hollande, Macron) completely abandoning the working class, and demonizing the left whilst cozying up to the far-right (mostly Macron, though Hollande definitely slid right over his term).

Although the projection is better than what I was dreading, it's still not over until the last results are in. The art style is one of the things that drew me in. It is a nice compromise between realistic and stylized. Sadly, now that Life By You is canned, this is the only game (at least that I'm aware of) that wants to "dethrone" the Sims.
