  • If you have CSS knowledge, maybe both Yiffit and Pawb instances could benefit from an awesome custom theme :3

  • I've never had problems with Brother printers, but like you that was years ago. Nowadays I rarely print and when I do I do it from my Android on a brother laser printer

I would always go for a laser printer if possible. Also, I believe it's still possible to reset the toner on brother printers via a button combination so that they last twice as long (albeit with lower quality)

  • Bottom bar. The list icon next to the home icon let's you search on Jerboa.

  • Actually that's a great idea! I should add that info to the sidebar of mine.

  • I've set up yiffit.net, but it's about furry porn / yiff. Hosting nsfw pictures of real people is another can of worms.

  • Unfortunately it's not possible at the moment for users. Maybe in the next release. I'd argue that it could solve a lot of problems is users could better curate the content they want to see or not see.

I run an instance that's not to everyone's taste and I'm worried that other admins will block is entirely if their users don't have a way to do so.

  • Welcome!!

  • That does make sense. I did notice that Lemmy does display images when they're sent from Mastodon, which (from what you're saying) means that Lemmy is going the extra effort to show those.

I was wondering if it makes sense for all Lemmy posts to include images in both fields? (attachment + body) Or if that would cause problems.

In my humble opinion being able to show Lemmy's images on Mastodon would be a huge benefit for self-promoting the platform and helping it grow.

  • I don't think this will end well... People are going to grill him, which he honestly deserves.

  • Just saw the post on beehaw. I am not an Apollo user, but I wish the dev much luck and I do hope that reddit has karma coming their way.

I'm a Boost user myself, and I suppose that their dev will probably be in the same boat. The most infuriating part is how unfair this all feels.
