2nd shave of the day, and the first time using straight razors twice in one day. I have some early mornings coming up for work, so might stick to the night shaving schedule.

Great 3 pass shave. I didn't do any additional pickup/cleanup strokes on the fat parts of my neck because it didn't feel like it needed any more work. A couple hours after the shave my opinion changed a bit -- some cleanup work would have made a difference, but this is still a very very nice close shave. No regrets.
I'm in love with the Excelsior soap base. So good.
I had a Dark Lord sample and it's an pretty incredible scent. The frag is very strong and lasts for ages. I honestly don't have high hopes of the dupe being close to the real thing, BUT I'm looking forward to something along the same vein!

Totally forgot to strop, but as has been shown by some of our members, stropping sometimes isn't required! Maybe it was the lather, or the unstropped blade, or my technique, or all of the above... I give this shave a 10\10.
I hadn't noticed the lack of thumbnail, good catch! On Lemmy it's very client specific, but I guess PieFed doesn't show any thumbnail if there's no link associated with the post. I'll ask Rimu about it. I think our use of a thumbnail for posts is pretty niche.
With regards to the number of passes? Still sussing that out and I'm sure I'll flip flop a bit over time.
In general, though, I'd say the past week has been a big improvement since I found magic in a lower angle, and the magic seems to translate to all 4 razors currently in my rotation.
Nice work. I've replaced the wrong part before, but I learned a lot from it. Something was dripping on the exhaust manifold, so I replaced the heater core because it was in the right place, and coolant runs through it. It turned out to be the head gasket that needed replacing, so I got to do that, too. I'm in a different place now financially, and will never do either of those jobs myself ever again.

Another very nice 2.5 pass shave. Now I'm wondering if I can go straight to ATG using other types of razors :-)
This has cut down the amount of time it takes me to do a straight razor shave which is a nice bonus.
I have 3 tubs of Tusk and I'd like to kill one or two of them to make room for other soap bases. This 30mm knot really helps with that mission, I think!
Why not now? Do you use the computer for school or work?
Linux is very easy to try, without even installing it. You can load Linux Mint on a USB thumb drive, then the hardest part is setting your BIOS to boot from it.
The survey in question is in regards to personal computers, so it depends on how the question was asked, and how people answered it. If people consider their Steam Deck to be a personal computer that runs Linux, I suppose they could answer that way. But, I don't think that's very likely.
