  • Would love a technical breakdown on what happened!

  • The beginning of reddit was much the same. Things stopped working all the time. Weird bugs popped up. And there were people posting posts like this a lot trying to figure out what was going on.

  • The site seems to be having lots of problems, right now.

  • I'm begging for someone to take a look at the CSRF error that is still plaguing the site. Sometimes I can't upvote posts/comments withing 60 seconds of loading a page. I have to hit refresh every single time I want to vote on something or I'm taken to the error page.

  • That Einstein guy sounds pretty smart.

  • That might not be entirely the case here. If you are far enough up the looks-ladder to be considered "good looking", that puts you in a much higher starting position relative to everyone else, especially other men. Because according to women, most men are ugly (or at least "less attractive than average"). I'd assume that if you're that conventionally attractive, you're going to get better treatment from other men too, even straight ones.

"Good looking" men are just very rare, it seems. It makes sense to me they'd get a bigger boost in socioeconomic rating from that alone. Less to share the spoils with, as it were.

  • The prompt, by the way, was frog with (eyes closed:3).

  • LOL They're two different instances. Did you even click on the links or did you only read the headlines?

  • I choose to believe.

  • I know there's lots of jokes that get dropped every time this comes up, but I honestly and unironically hope they do leave the union. They're a rogue state. They actively sabotage both themselves and the rest of the country. They're a drag and should absolutely be let loose.

  • Yeah, I don't know what they're hoping to accomplish with this. Seems more likely that they'll just affirm the legality of this and make it worse in the long run.

  • Good question. I doubt us normies can get access to that.

  • More models and more transparency is always good in my book. I applaud the efforts.

  • Yeah. Blocking is hard for a federated system. And that's before the philosophical differences that have popped up in this thread on how blocks should work in theory.

  • And failing for as hard as they're trying. They may lose a few seats here and there, but not in the numbers they "should" because the Dems can't help but fumble the ball. You can decide for yourself whether that's purposeful or by accident. I can never make my mind up.

  • Why did you choose to be a dick about this?

  • But if a troll blocks everyone that down votes them, eventually no one will be left to see their stuff. It is a self solving problem. On the other hand, a troll that you block can interfere with your stuff being shown to others depending on the sorting algorithm.

  • Except up and down voting has implications for whether or stuff is visible in certain sorting algorithms.
