  • Also just a bad business model as well, trying to be a shittier more expensive Walmart or Target is pretty stupid. If it was just the pharmacy, food, and maybe clothes if they were cheap the business would've probably done better.

  • Also Nat guard are probably getting pissy. Most of them have jobs and proper responsibilities, imagine how fucking annoyed they may get when they get stupidly deployed for no reason when they just want benefits while doing the occasional disaster relief.

  • Play a game with complex audio simulation and go wild for a bit. May not be 100 percent but it may be variable enough to cause it. If you can't find a game with such a thing, look at the Fallout NV and 4 Nexus modders are batshit.

  • Agreed, I should e specified that I meant old school pull handles for the inside of the car. Like what 90s and early 00s Toyotas had.

  • Yep and honestly I think it's one of the better Assassins Creed games. It shows that at their best the Templar's are trying to guide humanity into its future, while at their worst the Assassins are children playing with powers they don't understand. Mind you that's within the fact that the Templar's are power tripping assholes in most games. I kinda wish we could get a Templar equivalent to Origin, perhaps have the Templar's emerge out of the collapse of the Western Roman Empire after witnessing the Assassins being stupid with an artifact.

  • That sounds like a design problem that could be solved. At least for the whole doing wholly accidentally, me pulling the door handle because I'm stimming not withstanding.

  • Yeah, don't know how to play caravan so it's all blackjack.

  • Not much to say about it in a particularly verbose way. Back when the Mormons were in Missouri he took a couple bounties that some nearby towns put out on the Mormon men in general, so he befriended some of the Mormons pretending to be a hunter from Arkansas and then led them to the woods and slit their throats one by one. He basically did this because he was bored and there was a lull in work for his lumber and crops, the pawning off their shit was just a bit of extra money.

Don't know if anything was ever written about it, pretty sure this happened before Missouri declared open season the the Mormons and I think the bounties were technically illegal. Who knows maybe the Mormons wrote about it but it's nothing fancy.

Edit: he didn't actually slit their throats, I've been playing a high casualty MGS2 run because reasons and the imagery is stuck in my head. He shot them in the back.

  • Or Fallout NV. Though if you have 7 luck or more you are garunteed to win.

  • My brain just went straight to tall butch woman and her small twink boyfriend. They fit all of their respective gay stereotypes but are 100% straight.

  • More or less, the packing facility is out in Thermal California but I pick them up in Palm Springs. Anyways they change week by week season by season, though patatos and onions are basically constant more or less.

  • I will note that I knew several people who lived by themselves when they were younger teens in the 50s and 40s. So if you could find work it wasn't impossible back then, hell my 2x great grandfather employed some random kid who ran from home via train jumping back the the 1910s.

  • This is like the inbred cousin of the immortal dragon loli bullshit.

  • Hope I do to, have fucken work tomorrow and I actually enjoy it. I drive around in my 01 Tacoma and deliver produce boxes it's great.

  • I largely agree I was just a little fucked up and couldn't think good when I wrote the comment, slipped and smashed into the ground hard nothing dangerous but I physically hurt bad. Regardless I meant undue or unearned power over people cult leaders, cops, and pseudoscientists would be the best examples I have for what type of powers I dislike due to their corruptive tendencies. But of a hard thing to describe since I don't think English quite has the words required, but I am mostly against undue influence over people be it due to lack of education, dishonesty, dishonorable conduct, etcetera etcetera.

Hard to think still I'm gonna nurse this headache and literal pain in the neck while thinking about how I need to get a bath rug so I don't slip again.

  • Oh Dante was definitely doing what we would consider political commentary nowadays. The problem is that at some point people took his weird but respectable work of political, theological, and philosophical commentary a bit too literal. Pretty sure before Dante hell was seen as a void or as a permanent and irrevocable separation from God, though there were outlyers due to pagan influence for example I remember coming across a letter where a Norse monk was getting annoyed with the fact that peasants had synchronized Helheim and hell as concepts.

  • Given the fact I don't like power as a baseline either wielded by mine self or others, I'm gonna disagree. Power corrupts inevitably so thusly to prevent corruption we must prevent people from having power over eachother as much as possible, within reason at least don't think anyone is bitching about paramedics having the power to give someone anesthesia.

  • It's not an uncommon thing both historically and in modernity, it's got a built in cover of shit sometimes happens. Hell one of my ancestors got away with it 5 times before the Mormons figured out he was just murdering them and pawning their shit 2 towns over.
