Shocked Brits react to rise in cost of living under Conservative government
  • Yes I agree, rejoining the EU seems to come up quite high in opinion polls when that is the sole question, but the parties that are supporting this are not.

Apart from FPTP, I reckon another factor is that people are just sick of hearing about Brexit. It has been in the news cycle continuously for years. I don't think it is enough of an issue to be a vote winner compared to Lab/Con focusing on generically growing the economy and talking about migrants etc. I just think back to that clip of Brenda from Bristol after news of the Theresa May snap election and reckon that is where most people are at in terms of Brexit.

  • Previously they have given early access to those buying a compendium, but it seems like they are not selling those any more. Let us hope they do something similar cos it seems like people like to buy to resell higher.

  • Tory Welsh Secretary accused of ministerial code breach with social media video
  • I had a survey from him recently branded and labelled from the House of Commons but largely contained questions related to devolved matters. I remember something about 20mph and M4 relief road as well as NHS in Wales. I wonder whether this would be against the code of conduct too? It seems like he wants to take the job of RT Davies in the Sennedd.

  • Actually, let's give them another 30min
  • It doesn't sound too different to Cymru despite having a relatively stable left-leaning government. Last time I was admitted to A&E, I was in there for about 14 hours. At least they fed me plenty of sandwiches :)

  • Wales lowers speed limit to 20 mph to cut car use and save lives
  • The Tories originally supported the proposal which is quite hilarious seeing how much stink they are throwing currently.

I do agree public transport needs more funding but they are in a pretty tricky situation where the Gov has very little money to improve the service (partly due to Wales transport funds being spent on HS2) and at the same time bus usage is down and not recovered after lockdowns. I hope the 20mph limits will encourage more onto busses, but I am not confident.
