It locked my ID. I successfully unlocked it, but then it asked for my security questions to log in, and I must've forgotten those. I tried to reset them, but got a weird error ("not enough info to reset"). Apple Support was unhelpful, just told me to try again the next day (yesterday), which didn't work, and otherwise said I'd just have to create a new Apple ID.
Young Souls. I'm pretty forgiving when it comes to couch co-op games if we find one we can both enjoy.
And this one was good, but it was basically unplayable on the Switch (or, at least, constantly crashed mine). Finally got to the very end (where there's no saving from the start of the end cutscene until the finale) and it crashed before the final battle. Restarted, got through several minutes of cutscenes, got a little farther but crashed again, this time in the final battle. Tried one more time and it crashed again in a different spot. Promptly deleted the game.
So I guess we'll never finish that one.
Uncle Sam Goddamn - Brother Ali
Ju$t - Run the Jewels (and a lot of their or Killer Mike's songs)
Gang Shit - Marlon Craft
The Guillotine - The Coup
I Wish I Was a Riot Grrrl - Destructo Disk
Nobody's Biz - Four Fists
Some of these being older than 10 years is a real bummer lol
That's the pettiest shit I've ever seen
ClickUp has been working for my work projects. There's a free and a paid version. Free should work for most people.
There's a "blocking" feature so you can see what parts of the project need to be done first, the ability to create templates (and schedule tasks based on the start or end date), recurring tasks, etc. I think there's a bit of a learning curve and sometimes I have to go digging or contact support because i can't figure out how to do a particular workflow, and sometimes the answer is "it's in the works" and sometimes it's the case of a hidden setting.
Absolutely!
Haha yes, we can go with "refined!" Though these days I find myself reaching for books that are more fun than literary.
I try not to pay a ton of attention to reviews for the reason, for books and movies. Sometimes I'll check afterward for something I enjoyed and find that it's not well reviewed. Maybe I have trash taste 😅
Yeah, there are some books that are highly recommended--even some that are personally recommended to me by a friend--that I end up not enjoying. I don't think that makes them bad books, just not the right book for me.
I definitely liked the first Broken Earth book the best as well.
I'm not sure how I feel about the city trilogy either. The characters and their voices are great, but a lot of the more abstract scenes/actions didn't really do anything for me.
I think she writes well enough that it keeps me reading (and wins her awards), but I haven't loved most of her books.
Also FYI that medications can increase the half-life of caffeine. For example, oral birth control can double caffeine's half-life. Additionally, people can metabolize caffeine faster or slower than others based on genetics and age. So I've figured out I need to stop drinking caffeine no later than noon, and I might benefit from stopping earlier (or entirely, as much as I'd miss it).
Almost done with N.K. Jemisin's The World We Make.
Also reading the fourth John Dies at the End book.
And listening to Why We Sleep.
That's one that falls under the "not strictly comedic" but omg if I didn't burst out laughing at Justin Long's character several times. It was directed by one of the guys from Whitest Kids U Know and I think that shows through occasionally.
- Revamped - a very bad vampire movie written by, directed by, and starring the same man
- Death Bed: The Bed That Eats - a horrible 70s horror movie with a very literal title
- From Dusk till Dawn
I'm also including some movies that are horror comedies that are actually good and fun on purpose in case those strike the same chord with you. Some aren't strictly comedic, but I think they're all fun.
- Cabin in the Woods
- Barbarian
- Get Out
- Housebound
- Slither
- Tucker & Dale vs. Evil
- most of the Evil Dead movies
- You're Next
- Pearl
- The Guest
- Shaun of the Dead / Hot Fuzz
- What We Do in the Shadows
One of these curious little dudes licked my foot! I don't think he realized it was attached to a person, because he looked up afterward and got startled.
Her little beauty mark!!
I also have a cow cat who sleeps like that. Not a care in the world.
Is it always sssssix o'clock?
