Did you sleep with notebooks and stationary under your pillows as kid?
I didn’t do that specifically, but one of my grandfathers was an insurance salesman and worked out of a home office before he retired.
He still had all of his things by the time my sister and I would play at their house as kids, and we would spend HOURS playing office. Typing memos to each other, cutting paper, using white out, etc.

What books would you describe as nothing burger?
I haven’t read the Andromeda Strain…I guess I shouldn’t?
I actually enjoyed 90% of Sphere, but then the ending just…killed it. Like, it comes off as if he just got sick of writing the story despite not having a way to end it.
What books would you describe as nothing burger?
The Sphere. I’ve never hated the ending to a book more.
