That's what I was gonna say. It doesn't even have to be a religious thing. To a lot of people church/mosque/temple is a cultural thing.

I'm thinking that it's kinda easy to find bad/negative songs which is fine for a while but you don't want a whole set of that, it'll get depressing. You kinda want a song that's like: "things are terrible but we'll persevere." I'm having problems thinking of any tho. Anyone got ideas?

From a quick look at their online presence, I think these are some guys who met probably in college and started a band for fun. It's the sort of thing that happened back in the 80s too ofc, but bc now there's inexpensive/free recording software and distribution networks a lot more of it gets more widely known, even if it doesn't "make it big".

Hey great idea. Hmm... off the top of my head:

• Bestial Mouths "In Ruins" is about the BLM protests iirc
• Innerpartysystem had this song "American Trash"... but I dunno that might be kinda meanspirited in this context
• I'm pretty sure "Gun Lover" by Acumen Nation is ironic
• oh yeah Nine Inch Nail's Year Zero album is pretty much all relevant. I've always had a thing for "The Great Destroyer"

Looks like these folks are out of Brazil. Not much info about them but they're pretty good. I bet this song woulda been considered emo back in the 00s, but I swear part of the chorus reminds me of the 70s classic rock song "Dust in the Wind".

They clearly have post-punk influences tho. Here's a video of them doing a live cover of The Cure's "10:15 Saturday Night" that's pretty good.

• Your average normie's gonna look at that and say: "Star Trek BS, I don't wanna think that much," and forget all about it.
• Your average Trekkie's gonna mention it to every other Trekkie they know, and thus expand the reach of the flyer. Everyone has at least one Trekkie friend.
• The intended recipient's gonna look up "Lord StarTron", see nothing, and then out of desperation just add the birthday to the mask and try that number (which is the right answer)
