toilet rule
  • I imagine it's because your anatomy is actually more suited to dropping a log while popping a squat. Because of this many people will keep a stepping stool in front of their toilet to put their feet on while sitting on the toilet. It can make doing your business easier, especially if you're constipated

  • [request] Help finding a space movie

An astronaut crash lands on an elongated asteroid with extremely strong gravity. He manages to crawl away from his ship and finds that the gravity in the middle is normal and the gravity at the far end is reversed. Time is also affected by gravity and goes backward at the far end of the asteroid. His dog was injured and he carries it to the far end to heal it. He then goes back to his ship, manages to fix it, and goes back home. There were trees in the middle with fruit as well. I think that's all I remember. The problem I've been having is if I put 'gravity' and 'movie' in the same search I get Gravity with Sandra Bullock which definitely isn't the right movie. Thanks in advance for any help.

  • All pictures of space are artificially colored to make it easier to see patterns. I see no issue with this

edit: just realized the bit I was responding to was from the poster of the image but I'll leave this here anyway

[Discussion] What are you're thoughts on a Steamdeck with a PSP Go form factor?
  • I agree. I didn't think it would end up anywhere near the size of a PSP but I thought the sliding form factor would help a bit with compactness. It would help with portability too as you wouldn't need a custom case or those sticky things to protect the joysticks.

  • [Discussion] What are you're thoughts on a Steamdeck with a PSP Go form factor?

I just found out the PSP Go was a thing and I really like the idea of having the screen slide up to reveal the controls. I think this would be a great way to make a more compact version of the Steamdeck. I don't know about the low profile joysticks though. I've never used anything like those before and I'm not sure how they'd feel to use. Maybe it would just be something I'd have to get used to. Regardless, I'd love to hear what other people think about this idea. Edit: I think I should clarify. I'm mostly referring to the style with the sliding screen. I don't think something as small as the psp would be a good idea either

    Need help finding story

I stumbled upon this story ages ago and I can't remember the name of the website anymore. It was a collection of fantasy stories taking place in the same world written by two people. The story I started reading starts with a man waking up in a field with a dagger wrapped in silk laying on his chest. When he looks around he sees other people laying in the field as well with similar bundles on their chests. He gets up and walks to a nearby tree row. As he is looking in the trees someone else comes to tell him that the others are waking up too. As they start talking and forming small groups a wizard appeared and announced to everyone that "the trial" was beginning. A large tower had also appeared behind him. The people were then teleported into a dark room that was presumably inside the tower. The people started calling out to each other and fumbling around in the dark and that's where I stopped reading. I was really excited to read those stories because it seemed like there would be a lot of world building. I would very much appreciate any help finding the story or the website it was on.
