404: couldnt_find_community

After search wouldn't show a bunch of communities, I started manually just editing the URLs and then I ran into a new set of problems.

If I go direct to the lemmy instances they work, but via this instance, I'm getting a bunch of 404s.

list of defederated instances

I noticed I'm not seeing communities from .ml, I'm assuming it's because it's defederated. Is there a list available?
