FCC chair wants to boost broadband standard to 100Mbps
  • Welcome to the United States, where consumers built the internet infrastructure that monopolies profit from and fight tooth and nail to prevent communities from providing high speed internet to its residents. Capitalism at its most corrupt: privatize profits and socialize capital costs and losses.

  • Fired Tesla Employee Posts New Video of Full Self-Driving Running Red Light
  • So sick of shit like this getting posted. Of course the software is not perfect. There are so many warnings about it not being independent of driver intervention it's crazy. Yet here we are with the entire internet hating on Musk so much that we have to tear down the evolution of self driving cars, which is arguably the most complicated computing and programming problem in history. Bring on the downvotes but for the record, I think Musk is a douchebag but can separately appreciate the effort involved in the herculean task of programming cars that drive themselves.

  • Your points are valid for all brands outside of Tesla, btw. Virtually no vampire drain now whereas a few years ago your statement was correct. And I can get from 20->80% in about 20 minutes. Really not an issue to supercharge with how common Tesla superchargers are. All of the advantages outweigh the mild disadvantage of having to charge at superchargers.

  • Biden is pretty centrist already. Guaranteed he’s funded by republicans/russians as a spoiler. He’s dead man walking as a senator and has always been pay to play.

Mitt Romney should run as an independent candidate now for the same reasons Manchin says he is.

  • Democrats scramble to reach voters after Florida cancels mail-in ballot requests
  • Appreciate your reply. I’m no fan of Biden but he’s a million times better than the guy that clearly tried to subvert the will of the people. Without one man, one vote we have nothing.

Yeah, in this day and age of much easier communication compared to 1776, I’d like the idea of constituents at least having the ability to vote on policy of interest. Even though I don’t always agree with majority opinion, I continue to respect it.
