being a court fool or village idiot have been professions too. The problem nowdays is that too many people look up to the idiots as someone to seriously listen to, not as entertainment.

Its also something that has to be dealt with or it will destroy humanity eventually, or turn it into something so horrible that destruction might be preferred. Any system we come up with will get corrupted by it if its allowed to exist.

Though its so damn annoyingly hard to eradicate since by doing so you kind of become it yourself, at least if you try to do it the easy way. But to get rid of it in better way relies on people being able / wanting to change or at least not opposing the change in such way it causes more problems.

its just that i cant see how fasicm can be considered communism. Communist regime can also be facist but its crazy to just make them mean the same thing. Its like saying nazi germany was communist.

the promise i see comes from things that are actually in the game. Though it still needs more to be worthwhile, so i'm not risking my money yet. They just need to add more fun things to do and fix the problems with what they already have and it would already be kind of ok, provided they keep adding stuff.

well, they are still slowly actually adding more stuff to the game. I dont think they intend to scam anyone since they occasionally allow people to play the game for free and without that i would have been inclined to buy it many times now to see what kind of game it is (and would have felt scammed). Now i just keep waiting for them to add enough stuff for the game to be worth getting, but after hearing they might add somekind of p2w shop crap i think i might just forget about the whole thing if it really bad.

there is a lesson in this, never trust corporations or you will get ruined by them eventually. Either we learn to survive without them or just silently go into the night.

eu is trying to turn into surveillance state too. There is some group that is CONSTANTLY pushing this chat control law, that would make encryption illegal, if i have understood it correctly. They have been held back for now, but they can just keep trying until they succeed.

to me, vibe coding seems better used to provide a draft of the work so people with actual skills can then do the final work. A draft made with crayons, dogshit and stale beer but draft none the less.

Or you could just describe what you want to someone who knows how to design code stuff and can ask clarifying questions.

you'd think so, but what is being actually done to achieve this? As far as i have seen, people dont seem to have interest even in their own well being if it requires any attention span and they lap up any and all propaganda to the extent you are considered kind of crazy if you think corporations might not have your interests at their heart.

If the revolution is coming, it wont have any supporters because vast majority will just side with the corporations or plain not care. Not saying this to deter anyone from doing something but to point that winning back peoples minds is the first step that needs to be taken if anything is to be done at all.
