lemmy now
  • Nah Lemmy is definitely worse than the majority of social media platforms rn. There’s blatant posts of the exact same thing in the exact same communities by different users hours apart with hundreds of upvotes each so I literally can’t go 3 posts in the All feed without seeing his stupid face and it’s gotten to the point where I’m just downvoting people for low effort. I don’t fucking care about some guys mug shot to need to be informed a hundred times, if you’re gonna make jokes at least put effort into it

  • Vesper is a visual oddity worth a viewing.
  • Visuals are interesting but tbh this movie is on a relatively short list of movies I’ve skipped through. I usually give up on movies I don’t find interesting or stay engaged, but sometimes a setting/plot is interesting enough to see to the end but overall is a very slow/dull film.

  • No correct answer
  • This sounds like the average extrovert’s perspective on an introvert lifestyle tbh. “Oh you have minimal social life and focus on your passions there must be something wrong with you.”

  • Wi-Fi sniffers strapped to drones—Mike Lindell’s odd plan to stop election fraud
  • Oh wow a DJI with a packet sniffer attached to it, something I can literally put together myself with stuff at my desk in 15 minutes. Absolute baboons, these are the type of people to try and convince you 5G gives you Covid.

  • Hackers manage to unlock Tesla software-locked features worth up to $15,000
  • Yeah anyone who’s familiar with the “software upgrade” know’s it’s just overpaying to be a beta tester for their self-driving. What’s more; people who don’t buy it still get auto-steer (lane maintain, car pacing & cruise control) which is what most would use self-driving for anyways. Aside from that, if it runs on code there will always be a way to beat it. People have been ripping .DLL files for enterprise software for decades that cost as much or more than this overpriced “feature.”

  • Research Firm Claims Most cars still cost more to charge than to fill up with gas
  • There’s definitely a lot of nuance involved. For instance my service provider charges more for electricity than the public charge stations do (seriously fuck PG&E and every other monopolistic service provider), so I actually save money by not charging at home. It’s still absolutely cheaper than filling up on gas though, especially when I can find a spot where I don’t have to pay (like my work.)
