  • I'd recommend Sonic Generations (or Sonic X Shadow Generations), which is kind of a best-of of previous Sonic games' levels, tied together with a new story.

Sonic mania is also a great game, reminiscent of the first few 2d Sonic games. But, just like those games, it doesn't really have much of a story or character interactions.

  • Very popular here in southern Germany. Most people I know go skiing at least once a year. The local skiing areas don't get a lot of snow anymore, so most people go to Austria or Switzerland. Personally I never went skiing though.

  • Comparing the time when I joined Lemmy around 2 years ago to now, I would say that the general tone has become somewhat more unfriendly. A larger userbase might be a contributing factor, but I think it's also the political climate in the west becoming a lot worse recently with many divisive issues and people being more stressed about the state of the world.

  • Ideally yes, but that will never happen as quickly (if at all) when it's a country that has been considered an ally for decades. Similar to how many European politicians are still going on about the US being an "important ally", even when it's Trump's USA being openly hostile to our way of life and democracy.

  • Yes I do, because my own experience of existence suggests I have it. Could that all be an illusion? Sure. But believing I don't have free will would pretty much deny the existence of my self, which, being myself, I'm not really capable of, nor would I want to do that.

    • Desktop PC
    • Valve Index VR headset
    • Company Laptop (Razer, yes seriously)
    • Company Macbook Air (just for iOS Builds)
    • Phone (Galaxy Flip 4)
    • eBook Reader (jailbroken Kindle Oasis)
    • Smart/Fitnesswatch (Garmin Instinct 2)
    • Steam Deck OLED
    • iPad Air G5 (with pencil, mainly for drawing)

Also a ton of older and/or rarely used devices

  • I believe his surname being Al Saud should indeed mean that he is part of the Saudi royal family. Although that includes everyone descended from its original founder, some 15,000 people, so he's not necessarily close to the ruling inner circle.

  • Makes sense. Could be fun if it integrates a lot of elements from the game. Not sure if I'll watch the sequel though. First one was competently made, but pretty much the definition of empty, meaningless entertainment for me.
