Did you check the logs?

You probably need to enable logs first and then check the file that you can verify on your monerod.conf file (it depends of your instance).

Well, it's cool that everyone got privacy but coin distribution is not related.

TL;DR (my PoV) = It's 'better' distributed than Bitcoin but it stills with a clear difference. Monero is not here to broke the accumulation system, at least not at the first stage.
