  • unfortunately there is no amount of wage that prevent high rent.. on the contrary. All the city with low relative rend have rent control laws.

And they must be updated often since landlords try to sneak their way.

For exemple, in Paris, there is a fashion trend of building offering " coworking rent", where they rent you a 10m2 for exuberant price, and they justify it by having a "PC room " in the building or something. So the city is in the process of banning thoses "coworking" place, which are just a way to bypass rent control law

  • you're right. I care in the sense, that i dont want to have my post deleted by some mod that assume things without checking (like me spamming in that case). And no, delete are pretty rare. Last one was 2 month ago (as seen as the bottom of the pic), and I post like 5-10 links /day

  • Oh it is my general policy... if a community delete one of my post, I block it. As I said, I will not waste my time (and that community time) on a community that dont want my posts. Here we are so far: (most of them, are just subjects I dont care about to be honest)

  • not mad at all. the beauty of lemmy, is that if you dont like the behavior of a community/instance.. you dont have to stay with it, you create your own.

If an instance feel it is okay to ban for 40 day someone because of 2 post at a few minutes interval... I really dont want to post on that instance anymore. I post things I find interesting. It is more a way to archive links in the same place. If it is deleted (by error or powertrip) , it make me lose time, and my references. So i'd rather post somewhere else, where it will stay.

Thanks for your time, and the explanations

  • site ban.. then why I was not banned on some of lemmy.ml communities (may be those community had no mod, I didnt check)

I have way to know the mod who did that. Plus I dont care for a community that is so trigger happy with banning.

  • Yeah nsfwyoutube already got flagged once previously on one community... even-though they explain just under the post what it is all about : youtube without login.

could CLM explain a ban in like 30 communities, and not 10 other (on lemmy.ml) I was subscribed to? Did 30 mods just banned me on a false report? Plus some of those 30 communities, I didnt post in since days! I dont get how I can be ban for spam on communities I didnt post on

  • with intend

The goal of the community is to highlight all the passive ad we consume and propagate. Hopefully next time you see that brand, the familiarity with the name will not be reassuring but a reminder how they highjack our brains
