Reddit redesign is getting forced onto users without an opt-out option
  • Unless a larger portion of the userbase migrates, Reddit will get to do what they want to. Unfortunately the landed gentry/toxic mods are going to do what they can to keep them there too, including modding out any info posts about alternatives.

    I shouldn't be so mean, I use EndeavourOS BTW. But it definitely needs more care than a Fedora or a Debian.

  • Changed the Steam and ... buttons, changed the color scheme on the joysticks, and the joysticks themselves. Those may or may not count as "outer shell" But the screw sockets definitely do, and they have metal inserts now.

  • They're not selling the OLED version yet, so I have to assume this is either cumulative to this point, and/or as a result of the massive price drop for the LCD version.

  • This looks like a typcial console refresh. Fix the user pain points, find ways to make it cheaper to make, and maintain compatibility with the ecosystem. It's more for new Deck users than as an upgrade for existing users. And it worked: I want one.
