  • Probably 100 Million people in this country need to be shocked into global reality.

We're not even close to that though. Things would have to get far worse in the US for that to even begin to happen . The full third of eligible voters who didn't vote in November for the most part still wouldn't if an election were held today.

  • This is off topic but I wonder how long it will take before we learn the identities of the people who have access to Trump's twitter account. Ever since presidents started using Twitter in office nobody really assumed they were writing posts themselves , they have comms teams for that. Trump's relationship with Twitter had always been different, and the gimmick has always been that it's his way to talk to the people without the MSM filter.

But we know at this point that he doesn't write all his own posts and we also know that he sometimes criticizes specific companies. Anyone with even 15 mins of notice about these posts going live can make easy money on the stock market. It would almost be silly if there weren't people making a killing off it.

Its illegal of course but that hasn't mattered for a while.

  • Lots of games were like this way back in the day. I remember my dad has a 286 and had a DOS game called Deathtrack. You're in a car with guns and you shoot other cars. First person view. "3D"ish where everything was just a wireframe polygon.

Ran fine in the 286. Then we got a 386 and it was totally unplayable because the moment the race started you had already crashed. It didn't run 2x faster, it ran like 50x faster which was impossible to adapt to. The frame rate was governed only by the speed of the CPU. Wild shit.

  • Every time I think of the Ent-D warp core I think if the scene where Data and Geordie are testing some alien disruptor weapon literally next to the warp core, and with it pointed directly at the core . Cracks me up.
