I really enjoy that you apologized before engaging with knowledge on the subject. I agree on all fronts, including the vague sense of shame.
Seriously, this is the first time I’ve been on his side I think ever….I don’t like it, but I stand by it.
My golden retriever is named Siena. Absolutely everyone immediately thinks it’s because of her color, which is very red. I then have to explain that actually she was bright white as a puppy and she was named after Siena, Italy hah. It just ended up working out and not being entirely random.
On the other hand, my Aussie is named Bessie because she is splotched like a cow…
I was unaware of vinegar, that’s awesome. Thanks.
That is really cool but, man, the tooling has to catch up quickly before the fediverse graduates from just “tech people” to the general public. I think the tooling will arrive but this is all so powerful/interconnected it can look scary if not managed well.
Yes, I think you should. I also don’t have a drivers license. I am working on changing that, but later in life and with a stressful job…it’s very easy to put off. Ride sharing apps, biking and living in a city with good public transport makes it not a major deal day to day. However, when it is an issue it’s a big one and I end up feeling like a burden on those who can drive. If you have time in your life to do it now, do it. You don’t have to use it if you don’t want to.
