According to this article in The Guardian, they lost out by just 15 votes. So close.
EDIT: Poor troubleshooting on my part. I missed the part in the dmesg about missing the firmware. I installed the firmware through AUR and everything works as it should. I need to be better than this …
Don't beat yourself up over that. Sometimes the missing firmware isn't an easy one to spot, I've been there in the past with Arch and more recently with Debian 12. You'll be ready for the next time!
Most of the time I just use the Fastmail web browser interface. I can access it over IMAP with Thunderbird butt it's noticably slower. Depending who your email provider is you may find they have an acceptable web interface.
I noticed this a few days ago. https://stgraber.org/2023/07/10/time-to-move-on/
Yes. I would send for The Cleaner.
Wow. What a mess.
I'm not familiar with your reduced content. As you say Capitol I'm assuming the US? Did they restrict any particular albums or just some tracks/songs?
It's probably worth mentioning their compilation double albums too - 1962-66 ( the red one) and 1967-70 (the blue one). These after i wore out a 45 of Penny Lane when I was 7 or 8.
An air force pilot amongst other things. Pursued a career in electronics/Comms instead and ended up working on aviation ATC ground systems.
You succeeded. You drive data busses.
Good to know about other users experiences. I've been with them for 20 years and apart from some downtime in the early years they have been solid. I don't really have an issue to what their staff can access, it whether there had been any data breaches that I was unaware of. I've not looked at Proton but I was curious enough to look at Tutanota based on Germany as they have a presence on the fediverse.
Long time Fastmail user here. Where is it failing with respect to privacy?
Thanks for the recommendation. Have just installed and connected back to Beehaw.
Same issue here. I've sent feedback to Developer. It was starting with a minimum version warning but now I see the changelog screen briefly before it crashes and burns. I guess that's the price of living at the bleeding edge of the fediverse ;) In the meantime I'm back to Vivaldi mobile.
I can't even remember if I subscribed to r/archlinux over there, I've eradicated my account now so it doesn't really matter. The important bits are (1) I'm an Arch user, amd64 and arm7hf mainly. (2) I'm subbed to this community. May it live long and prosper!
The process of applying for a Voter Authority Certificate online is quite straightforward . As long as you are registered to vote, you only need a recent photograph and your National Insurance number. You can apply online here, I appreciate that not everyone can set some time aside for this, but if you do try please share any obstacles or difficulties you encounter.
I have tried the search, for example !space@lemmy.link doesn't return anything - but if I try @space@lemmy.link or space@lemmy.link I get the response not found. Maybe I need to wait longer for the search to query the remote instance @lemmy.link?
I am having a similar issue here at beehaw.org. I can't see anything from @lemmy.link listed in the communities.
Please disregard, I see there's already a thread about this.
Same issue here. I won't pretend to understand the reasons behind it, only panic because I saw the error 😔 pop-up.
I am old and grumpy. I support the trailing edge of technology. I can also be found over at @nickb333.
