Void linux. Both on wayland + labwc desktop and radpberrypi 4 server with multiple dockers, and a bootable usb for my work laptop. Why? Its lightweight, rolling, rock stable, and easily extendable. I love runit for its simplicity. Love xbps package manager for its speed, and love the good and clear documentation.
Right, thanx, not direct costs, but indirect, added to the health effects, makes sense.
What are these costs? And how come shifting an hour kills people?? Stress?? Cant be just that??Having these discussions every year possibly causes more stress than just following the clock shifting? I don't recall my parents ever having issues with dst or complain about dst more than the first morning when the clock shifted forward? Just trolling a bit, but for myself I really dont see the issue, except for the discussions every half year.
Really don't get the issue about keeping it? Its just a small adaptation, which should not bother anyone? A simple change every now and then keeps you flexible right, just go with the flow, and stop being bothered about such a small thing 😉
So what did the government do, planes/jets? Says sound cannon, what is that? And furthermore, WTF! A peacefull protest, what were they trying to achieve? How sad do you have to be to order this action, let alone to actually do this as an employee??
Asterix & Obelix themed.
- Asterix is a rpi4, strong and small with ssd running dockers with homeassistant, revproxy and webserver, and camera storage.
- Idefix is a rpi3, mainly test only nowadays.
- Obelix is my desktop running voidlinux.
I used to have Pneumatix which is the mailman as the mail server and Panoramix, the druid, as domoticz server, Heroix, chief, as firewall and Bellefleur, beauty, as webserver 😉 All were LXD virtual servers on a pentium 3. I try to find a character matching the functionality. Except for domoticz all are now dockers on Asterix, so less use of funny names.
Non linux machines would be roman names from Asterix & Obelix, but I have none ..
At work we used famous dogs. Laika, Pluto, Cerberus etc
