do you know you can also convert subreddit into RSS feeds ? don't know if it will work after 1 july but it's an option

yes, i began to test : some post are real advertising and are annoying. You should be more selective on the RSS sources

1. Define your priorities.
2. Ignore what other think, especially the one who say it's not possible.
3. Move your ass.

Believe me, these 3 rules work for everybody and whatever your age.

i use jerboa on android. use a mobile app for lemmy is a game changer. Good news for ios user

I don't think so : in mastodon, people knows they can federate. After trial and error process, they choose their instance based on reliability, moderation and the topics inside.
I think lemmy/kbin will follow the same path.

i think you take a wrong decision : i appreciate beehaw, but whatever you will do, you can't control everything let people use 'block user' feature, that's the purpose of this feature, and focus only on what people report as 'bad user'. Defederate for a toxic instance as 'lemmygrad' is good, but defederate from lemmy.world makes no sense for me. i hope it's just a temporary decision

autant je comprend qu'un citoyen russe/chinois...ne soit pas très enthousiaste pour utiliser lemmy, autant, je ne vois pas trop le risque pour les autres. Si quelque chose n'est pas normal (suppression anormale de post..), vu le nombre d'utilisateur, ça se verra vite

ça serait génial si on pouvait recharger des 2 roues electriques en se branchant sur une voiture au hasard : pompe pas trop sur la batterie du véhicule, petit bonus financier pour l'automobiliste. Il faut que les voitures deviennent aussi des bornes de recharge : garder 10% de la charge batterie pour un usage 'partagé' me semble pas une idée délirante

la meilleure communauté survivra sur lemmy : c'est un process darwinien, et ce n'est pas nécessairement mauvais, même peut être un avantage par rapport a reddit

i also switch to RSS for topics i don't want to interact with (politics...) I use lemmy with jerboa for everything else now

During 40 years, everything has been done for cars. But it's ridiculous to use a 5 persons transport (car) for only one person. The ecological problem is not only thermal vs electric, it's also cars versus 2 wheels transport
