  • Wavlake is a good option. Keep in mind, though, that no popular music of today (think The Weekend, Eilish, etc.) will be on this platform. Instead, it'll be Bitcoiners who also produce music and podcasts.

You don't have to use BTC with a Lightning Network wallet, though, as that's option. Nostr is another option that you can use, but again, that's optional.

Otherwise, use a net to catch the music you want. If you get the reference, then you know I'm a viewer of Louis Rossmann's content.

  • You need to first identify who they are. Follow the money, and you'll see their ties. That's how you defeat them: by starving them of your energy, and not participating in their Roman bread and circuses.

For those unaware of what I'm talking about, there's this thing called energetic participation. You may have heard it said as "predictive programming". This is a technique used in most media today, and to keep it brief, the propagandists tell everyone who watches something with subliminal messaging approved by them what some people will do sometime in the future (using things like numerology, astrology, etc.), and how they want us, the consoomer, to respond appropriately to the problem they'll cause. Gauging the reaction, they'll provide the "solution" that will lead to a worse quality of life than before. They'll do this every single time they want something to make people's lives more miserable than previously.

Case in point: this current talk on digital ID's. Well, first, they create the issue necessary for it (importing poverty and invading a Caucasian-majority country like the UK or US with 3rd world criminals released from their home country's prisons), then they gauge the reaction (calls for the government to fix it), and then, after some time, they provide the fake solution (digital ID's to "stop the invasion", "stop the flippin' terrorists", and "protect the children", all kinds of nonsense like that).

They told us that they would do this in some piece of programming in the past, and we didn't catch onto it, likely because the propagandists didn't want us to notice what they were planning on doing so we could stop them. They don't want us to, and that's the point. This is a simplification of energetic participation, as it's much more nuanced than that.

  • My only other concern is with the publisher, B-site (as it's called in China, though I'm not from there). Otherwise, it doesn't look that bad, despite being a top-down shooter instead of an FPS like Tarkov is.

  • OP wanted 90's-early 00's, though I thought 80's could suffice of OP hadn't thought of it. I could try to find someone obscure too, but I think that's pointless for what OP requested.

  • I hadn't thought of anyone from Inuyasha or Ranma 1/2... as I hadn't watched either of their animated adaptations.

  • I'd be honest all the way. If my member is small, I'd tell her that. If it's big... I'd tell her that. It doesn't matter to me, as lying just gets anyone nowhere.

  • Trump weirdly admitted that Democrats were better at economics than Republicans were (and he was a Democrat before switching to a RINO).

  • I sure as heck hope they allow Linux (basically, no ACE or anything of the sort). If they do, and the game's free, I'll check this sucker out to spite the Tarkov devs.

  • Not late 90's or early oughts, but I'd put a Vtuber or two on there (personally, I'd do either Fuwamoco or Mel [if Mel were still in Hololive]). Otherwise, because of the ThinkPad, and the OS you're using (which, from my experience, is a huge mistake if you're a beginner to Linux), I remember watching something from the 80's, that being Urusei Yatsura, so maybe Lum if you wanted to go that route. Otherwise, I'd say one of the characters from Rec!.

  • I'd probably just save a little for them, and once you invest enough for a powerful enough machine, then I'd purchase it with a little bit of money left. That's how I'd do it, though your mileage may vary.

  • Another reason why the English Language is the hardest language in the world. Most of us native speakers still suck at it.

  • It was surprisingly dumb for this man to be forced to do this. I'm glad this nurse decided to circumvent that by adopting this doggo, though.

  • This is 100% blackmail your relative is a victim of, as she's likely been unsafe since she basically called this guy out on his nonsense.

She needs to use these guides... she needs to become a ghost of sorts: https://untraceabledigitaldissident.com/articles

These need to be read every day, and she'll need to catch up on how she can turn her privacy around. The reason why I said that she was being blackmailed was because she didn't practice good OPSEC.

  • I'd take a look at something like System76 with their stuff, or potentially something like Tuxedo. If you want Linux pre-installed on a laptop, look for stuff that already has is supported OOTB.

Of course, there are people refurbishing laptops and slapping Linux on them, as many ThinkPads and similar devices from Lenovo are getting Linux slapped on there. I'd stick with Mint, Pop_OS!, CachyOS, or Nobara Project, unless you want X11/XLibre by default. If XLibre by default, there are many distros that are implementing it instead of XOrg's implementation of X11.

  • Maybe older Texans, but the younger ones know better than to hand their information over to the government, unless they're Catholic or some other form thereof, then I can see that happening too.

  • Texans need to fight back, and I'm sure they will. This is a 4A violation waiting to happen.

  • This is late, but I'd personally believe that Microsap and Crapple would be targeting more distros, not just Arch. Either them or state-level threat actors are involved, because they know Linux cannot be easily backdoored like what Unit 8200 learned with XZ Utils, backdooring it before it got reversed.

  • Their stuff was really good back in the day, and their quality was fantastic. Too bad the quality's gone to trash, especially during COVID.

  • For creative use, that's very interesting. If you want something that's with systemd (a set of utilities that are forced on many), then I think something like Linux Mint or Pop_OS!. As for Tuxedo, that's Ubuntu-based if I'm not mistaken, so it will have the Snap packaging format (basically, a sort of universal package format designed for any command line apps) from Ubuntu 24.04 and beyond. Mint and Pop don't implement Snap, and use their own repositories.

Without systemd (because some don't like systemd), probably something called MX Linux, which is Debian-based might be up your alley. Another option looks to be Nitrux, which I've never heard of.

Otherwise, maybe PCLinuxOS if you want something independent, with another option being potentially OpenMandriva.
