  • Haha the accents are quite heightened. My benefit of the doubt reason is that it's meant to be old timey so has to be extra. I am not in the US so I still can't believe that Alberta's accent is a real accent.

The show is a really good example of UK vs US humour and styles. Both quite well done so it's nice to see the positive differences. One is a quiet, mind your business deal and the other is a huge celebration of character and emotion.

  • Soo good. It's amazing to see the cast being silly with intent, dedication and love.

The caveman immediately climbed my "best written and portrayed character" list of all time. Perfect depiction of an enlightened being. Childish and wise in beautiful harmony.

Btw, the US version has grown on me. It starts as really really "American" with the extra-ness but over time it mellows out with some really heartfelt moments, interesting questions and wacky antics. I usually hate this cliche but.. "it gets better after the first season". Would recommend if you have time to kill and want to watch something light.

  • Ugh Don't you just hate it when my friends lose their vices and try to be better. Ugh they get so annoying and boring. Why do I even hang out with them. They keep trying to rub it in everyone's faces. /s

It really does become a crutch though.. which sucks since there comes a point where your muscles get weak. I say ditch those instruments and live as golden gods. But in moderation :)
