I apologize if this is not appropriate for this community. But, I find the main reason I feel this way is because of my Christian faith. I've gone on Reddit twice this month to check for specific discussions or questions I had. I only ever used Reddit on a third party app, so I was upset but what was happening.
But surprisingly, I feel even more alienated and hated on here than I did on Reddit. Pro Life communities seem to be banned. I think there were one or two at some point, but I can't find any now. This community has very low engagement and content, which I understand.
I'm kinda in the middle politically, trying to let my faith guide my politics, but there doesn't seem to be a place for that here. The people here seem to be further left than Reddit and more intolerant of Christianity.
I think it makes sense. Of course the most "activist-minded" people would leave Reddit. Perhaps the most outspoken people. I left Reddit because dislike browsing it outside of RIF.
I feel myself more and more drawn to Reddit lately. There's obviously still a vast majority of people on there that my beliefs are still hated. But, there are enough people to carve out little communities of like-minded people.
Anyway, sorry for the long post. Apologies if it doesn't fit.
I appreciate her username. It was my first question.
I did this on Sunday, but it was cooked maybe medium rare. I haven't cooked a lot in my life. What should I do if I want to marinate next time?
They're posting in the wefwef community, so it can be assumed they're using the wefwef web app. When I use it, I don't see that button. I may have duct tape over my eyes though.
A VHS my wife had. I had to pull the VCR out of the attic to watch. It was worth it though! Solid, funny, entertaining movie with a decent message about the complexity of modern life, and the simplicity of life in the African bush. I felt like it dragged a bit toward the end. And unfortunately, the tape was a bit messed up so we missed the last couple minutes. But I'd recommend it overall. We tried finding it on a streaming service before getting the VCR, but couldn't find it anywhere!
I've probably commented here today more than I did in a year on Reddit. Though I was mostly a lurker even when I started using it a decade ago.
While I agree this would be hilarious, and would want them to do it, it scares me that it's possible. That they know who is using it and apparently keep a database of certain users whom they can then blackmail. It's probably just an empty threat though and I'm taking it too seriously.
I always stay away from caterpillars that look like that because of getting stung by asps before. 😬
