What's a proper response to another dog attempting to mount your dog multiple times and the owner really not doing anything about it?
  • Sure, in which case I guess it's just annoying? My dog will usually bark or snap at dogs that try to mount her, if you are at the dog park that behavior will happen regardless, spayed female dogs hump as well as males who are both neutered and not 🤷‍♀️

  • It doesn't matter. Racist uncle is going to die early from a heart attack and those kids are going to be the people in charge when you're needing to be cared for- invest in them.

  • You don't NEED a weekend. The concept is barely 100 years old.
  • It's just one of those examples that helps us realize how extremely easy it is to misinterpret information without the appropriate context, yet we consume endless context-less content and all the time our brains assume we know the meaning and assigns some kind of judgement on the information or person, but without that appropriate context we really have no idea whatsoever, but we're constantly building a worldview based on what we're reading and seeing even though we really aren't getting it right at all. Isn't that just a mind fuck?

  • Nah, these noodles mainly use strangulation to kill their prey, they just strike it first to get it in close- it just needs to detach itself from itself and it will be okay

  • Humans learn behavior through trial and error and learning from others. Maybe this will be a valuable experience regarding how they come to choose their opinions and how they choose to express them, maybe not. Who knows? We'll keep doing our part to let others know when certain opinions are intolerable or unrealistic and they can use that information as they will, if they want. Being allowed to express something doesn't mean they are correct nor immune to criticism 🤷‍♀️

  • How often to you bail on a half-written post or response?
  • I cancel a lot more lately. As I'm writing my response I'm also thinking about what they might respond with to my response and as I'm doing this I realize this discussion is going to take more energy and engagement than I really initially cared for or than it's worth and at that point I'm like.. why even bother, nevermind
