@AntiBullyRanger @klu9 I would like to see the verticle text in action, where can I load this to see it?
@squirrel oh wow this is pretty big news I hadn't seen... I also see Make Magazine (Germany) is posting to this instance now too
@silverpill @underline960 @fediverse have you made a walk through video about how to send someone money through Mitra and show what the flow looks like? I think that might be useful to highlight
@jonuno all very different, I think best to not have any expectations. Prepare to camp with a group of strangers and see what happens!
@jonuno I will probably be there! I have been to all the previous years of SolPunk, this is the 5th year now!
@db0 oh weird it's now showing up. I guess federation was just really slow. It wasn't showing on either .ml or .world for like 20 minutes
@Framasoft hey @db0 I just commented in this post from my mastodon and see its not federating to the OP post. Any idea why? I know I was recently able to comment on .ml posts but maybe I am blocked from .world? How does one even go about figuring that out
@Framasoft would be really nice to work more on compatibility with other fediverse software. There have been a lot of quirks with how comments on peertube render across fediverse platforms, like the way your @mentions don't render as links when the posts feterate out to many other places etc. What can we do to iron out these type of issues other then just filing bug reports?
@PanArab I need to look into how the apps are even made its pretty crash that it's a whole new OS
@PanArab oh wow this is actually super interesting I didn't realize HarmonyOS was taking this approach of the system supporting mobile and desktop together. I want to play with it I wonder if there's any emulators for it yet
@mudbug oh thats beautiful
@flancian @wikipedia @FediverseChick I don't think anyone figured it out yet which is sorta incredible figuring how many infosec people we have here

There's a discussion on the #fediverse @wikipedia page about #Nicole the @FediverseChick

@Teknevra this seems like a good place to mention @hongminhee's @botkit
@kde@floss.social @kde@lemmy.kde.social oh so cool to see KDE Conf is happening in India! I wish I could go! @carl are you going?
@Peter_Arbeitslos thanks to @jonny I am now even more intrigued by this phenomenon!
hey @anonradio, just noticed you have no image set for your stream
not sure where the best place to set it is but its showing up as the default wordpress logo
you can look here for where many of the players get the radio streams at https://www.radio-browser.info/history/ca1e7a89-6ce8-11e8-b15b-52543be04c81

really great to see the new @plantid group! this is the type of thing the fediverse is perfect for.
Can you help translate the Wikipedia article about Lemmy into your own language?
Currently it's only in 4 languages, so there's a lot of translation to be done!

Can you post to multiple Lemmy communities at once from Mastodon?
I recently made a post from here and tagged three communities in it, on three different Lemmy instances, but it only made it to the first one. Is this just how it is suppose to work? And regardless how does this mechanism work? Does it get posted to the first one tagged and then the others deny it? Or was it a synchronicity that my post just didn't federated to the second two?

There are now multiple browser extensions to redirect outgoing links to subs in the threadiverse to your local instance of choice
Kbin Linker Extension https://github.com/daniel-lxs/kbin-link
Lemmy Linker Extension https://github.com/FackJox/lemmy-link
This is a major downside to how federation works currently and something we shouldn't need extensions for, but as a stopgap solution I am glad they exist.

What is a Fediverse Galaxy?
As more and more instances are providing multiple services under the same management, we need a term to talk about this type of arrangement. A Fediverse Galaxy is a collection of federated software that is provided by the same admin or collective.
