Sweden joined NATO, what does this mean for MullvadVPN?

My main question is, should we avoid VPN companies that are apart of the the 14 eyes, etc.? TIA!

What changed for you when you got a better job?
  • Dealing with people like that can be super draining. I had this 'boss' once who was actually just a coworker. He loved to pick apart everything I did. When I stopped trying to go above and beyond and just worked at a pace that felt right to me, he got really annoyed. He acted like he had authority, saying our real boss sent him to nag about my 'bad' work.

Before I left, he made a big scene about being the best worker there and called everyone else terrible. He'd complain about me sitting down to do inventory and then sit down himself a minute later, just showing off his hypocrisy. If you called him out on anything, he'd sulk and be a pain for the whole day. It's tough working with someone who's both a bully and acts like they're the victim. You never knew what mood he'd be in; if he was mad, he'd come in trying to make everyone else mad too, even yelling at his girlfriend on the phone and blasting music all over the warehouse.

And the drama never stopped with him, always bragging about how he never got help from anyone. But I'm like, you were fed as a baby, right? You had a roof over your head? He just seemed ungrateful. Someone needs to give him a wake-up call. The worst was my new manager never stepped in to stop him, and they both acted like I was the problem, making fun of me every day. I didn’t want to sink to their level, but sometimes you've got to stand up for yourself quietly, keep notes, and be ready if they push too far. Some people are just awful.

  • 1.) That doesn't really mean anything.

2 & 3.) How do you know they didn't receive help/treatment? Also, you can't just assume that every person is the same, most people go out of their way to get proper training to use a firearm.

4.) No, it's gotten way easier, there are blueprints everywhere online freely available and guides on how to make 3D printed guns at home.

5.) Why did the USA pull out of Afghanistan then? We have the best military in the world, yet we couldn't beat the people who live in the desert that had basically nothing? Urbanization is a nightmare in any war. In the end, it doesn't matter how many resources they have. You have to remember that people in the military have friends and family back home, there would be a lot of internal conflict. Also, If we leave the people defenseless, we'll end up just like China and Russia.

  • Please don't use Discord for FOSS projects
  • We shouldn't be mixing FOSS projects with proprietary communication platforms. There are a lot of FOSS enthusiasts who want their setup to be entirely free and open, including Discord into the mix basically goes against the whole philosophy.

  • I own a firearm because I don't want to be a victim again. Until you know what its like to truly fear for your life, only then you'd understand.

Although, I'm not going to defend this guy who ruthlessly shot that poor girl, simply no excuse for that.

How do you remove the restraints from LLMs?

Hello, I'm currently using GPT4All on Debian, I was wondering, how do you get the AI to do whatever you want? I'm using the Nous Hermes 2 Mistral DPO model.

Leah Rowe, the creator of Libreboot, stole my work.

    Hello,

There was a recent port that was made to Libreboot for the Dell Optiplex 9020 MT, and I was not properly credited for the work that I did. I made a pull request on Codeberg with my patch (github basically) and labeled it as 'WIP'. Leah and I were working on this together during that time, and I was told to wait a week, so I did. Time passes and guess what? They closed off my patch and added it themselves a week later with no credit given to me.

I made the .ROM files for the 9020 MT motherboard, I tested them, and they didn't work until Leah came in and resized the IFD and GBE regions. That was all that they did. Everything else, I did on my own, I added the entries in /vendor/sources for MRC/ME, and added it to lbmk. Leah is now refusing to accept my patch that's fixed.

I'm not trying to steal all the glory from them, they did help, I just want partial credit for utilizing the port from coreboot gerit. This port was originally made in Coreboot by Mate Kukri, so work mostly goes to them, but as for adding support for Libreboot, my name is completely left out. I just feel wronged because now they're saying that I don't deserve to have my name on this because I was too slow, when the reality is I was literally instructed to wait for them during that time period. I believe I was manipulated into waiting so that Leah could get the board themselves and add it without ever including my name. They also told me to wait a week on two seperate occasions, so in total I waited two weeks.

I spent a week working on this, and I let them know how significant this was to me, only to have my work shitted on and not properly credited. I'm now banned from IRC and Libreboot for talking about this on Mastadon. Leah claims that I was bullying/harassing them, but I was just exerting frustration, and if it was bullying, I apologize then.

Leah told me on Mastadon to 'respect their authority' and 'yield to their authority' and not to make a peep about this. I'm just ranting about this now because I feel like my work was just stolen. This is the most powerful desktop supported by Libreboot and now I'm left in the back pages where no one can see my name, which says 'Provided testing hardware for the 9020 MT' when I did much more than just testing. I was the one who added support for this desktop. I've been a fan of the Libreboot project for 4 years, this just makes me really sad to see it end like this.

    Any good hacking forums?

I remember when BreachForums was up, I just stumbled across it somehow, but I'm having trouble finding sites like that. You don't have to post the actual hacking sites in the comments, I'm just wondering what tools or sites you goto to find them.

Experiencing Audio Cutting Out in Proxmox VE Windows 11 VM

Hello, I'm using a Windows 11 VM on Proxmox VE, and my audio keeps cutting out. I use GPU passthrough with my NVIDIA 2080 SUPER for gaming, but I don't know where this issue is coming from. I've switched audio devices, but the issue persists. The audio cuts out for a few seconds, then comes back. I updated Windows to the latest version, uninstalled and reinstalled the USB Composite Device in Device Manager (using a USB to 3.5mm audio jack).

I don't believe I experienced this issue before. This build uses a Librebooted Dell T1650 motherboard which uses SeaBIOS. Maybe I need to switch OVMF (UEFI) to SeaBIOS in the VM? Not sure what's going on. This is a recently created VM, and the only things installed are my Steam games and nothing else. Any help is appreciated!
