  • The comment was for the magic Kigu. I would never stop wearing it and petting myself. Cozy and fluffy.

  • Would have been better if they left the names off.

I don't know where you find these, but this again proves that there truly are "no exceptions".

  • Are these for sale somewhere?

  • It bothers me a little the pop out is a different pose than the main pose, also the leash and pole are missing.

  • My favorite cheetah facts. Not technically a big cat, purr not roar, and meow. The claws are always out.

  • Are you telling me you start a howl?

  • To their defense for current drivers, they probably mostly use familiar names with each other. My favorite answer was what Max gave for V.

  • Pneumonia is fluid in the lungs, there are many causes. They were searching for the cause of the Pneumonia.

  • As much as I would love to complain about the healthcare systems, this looks more like some condition that he had for a month or two and didn't appreciate the severity. Based on the fact he complained about the cost, but never brought up not being able to afford it, its unknown if he didn't seek treatment earlier because he didn't know that he needed to, or that he couldn't afford it. Biopsies and specialists take time unless you are actively dying, and when he was seeking treatment, that did not seem to be the case. This is true anywhere. Unfortunately he ran out of time, pneumonia Lung issues is are no joke and there isn't really anything you can do about it until you know whats causing it, even then, sometimes there is nothing that can be done. There is another discussion at !chat@yiffit.net

Edit: made an edit above, additional thoughts below
I will put suffocating because of coughing towards the top of the list of horrible ways to die.
Looking back through posts, I still don't know if he didn't seek help months ago because of cost or need. If it was cost, that sucks. I'm not a doctor, but looking into the two options presented, neither had a positive outlook. Based on posts indicating long covid and a recurrence of shingles, I will put him in the immunocompromised category. Whether cancer or fungus, prognosis on both is poor.
Is the healthcare system in the US too expensive, yes, no question. Its full of perverse profit incentives at every level and inelastic demand with near monopolistic supply. Did it make a difference here, I don't know, but I don't think it forms the basis for a compelling argument or complaint. If the biopsy came back and he couldn't afford treatment, this would be different.

His life ended in an unpleasant way I would not wish on anybody. May his contributions not be forgotten.

  • Me neither, though he was apparently been sick for a while. It seems his death was sudden, but I would not say unexpected.

  • Somebody has to own it and pay the bills. Its big enough the day to day running can be a team of mods, but small enough that the admin stuff could be down to one.

  • Resistance is futile, you will be assimilated.

  • As it looked around it realized its been much longer than it thought since it last existed on this plane or reality.

  • That was just Lemmy/browser being dumb with refresh.

  • Somewhere deep in the woods where the river takes a bend, magic was brewing that was about to change the world.

OPs instance is de-federated from mine, so I don't think they will see this comment or any reply.

  • I can't say I know timelines, I will agree the latex style of Tunchbull definitely looks like Kemono Inukai. The only gallery I know of that Trunchbull still has up is https://www.pixiv.net/en/users/13619866 They purged everything else.

  • I will second Reflective desire is great for everyone who likes shiny latex and BDSM. If you like rubber tf, HelixJack is great. That latex style isn't their usual style, Trunchbull had a way with drawing this style of latex. They deleted most of their galleries, here is an example. also !shinyyiff@yiffit.net

  • People... That could be a problem, there are a lot of them.

  • I just don't make an effort to move farther over.

Pavement is one of the more interesting words for British vs American English. British pavement == American sidewalk. In American English, I don't see pavement in common use, but its more of the general material that a road is made out of, or maybe hard surface, when not specifying a specific. "They just put some new pavement down". Anyway, I just think its one of the more interesting (and potentially confusing) British to American translations.
