  • Yes, it's my IP. I know I'll probably get shamed on here for that lol.

Dynamic DNS updater keeps the subdomain request.mywebsite.com pointed to my IP. Nginx resolves that subdomain to the Overseerr host:port with SSL cert and everything.

I'm eventually going to set up a VPS but I just... haven't.

  • +1 for Overseerr/Jellyseerr

I have a website set up with dynamic DNS and Nginx to resolve request.mywebsite.com to Overseerr and it uses Plex to authenticate users who I've shared my library with. I'm not sure how Jellyseerr authenticates users though.

My friends and family that use my server regularly add stuff to my Plex server via Overseerr.

  • Edit: original title was "USS Eisenhower flees Red Sea" or something like that

Dumbfuck OP doesn't understand ship rotations.

The Ike was set to leave the red sea to return home. Even while in the Mediterranean, its aircraft can still conduct missions in the Red Sea.

    Regular ship rotation

  • No. MeTube only loads correctly after clearing the cookies and forcing me to re-login to Authentik. Even if I manually log out and try MeTube again, it doesn't work. Only clearing cookies fixes it temporarily.

The other apps authenticate and load correctly every time.

  • It's not just that companies like to ignore it, it's also that they have incentive to make shitty UI if it means they'll make more money off it (e.g. intentionally showing things in searches that people weren't looking for in the hopes that they might click/engage/purchase)

  • I've had bad experiences with KDE Connect, specifically with group chats. Last time I used it to reply to a group chat, it sent a text to each person individually.

I'm also on Windows so that might be my fault.
