Absolut. Ich fand das ganze Layout der Website nur irgendwann irritierend und wollte sie ganz vermeiden. Mit alt Clients kann man eine private Abo-Liste pflegen und alle algorithmischen Vorschläge und Kommentare ausblenden. FreeTube unterstützt auch separate Profile, was ich sehr nützlich finde.
Ich denke alle diese alternativen Klienten gehen ab und zu kaputt wenn sich irgendwas am Rückende ändert. Ich finds herrlich, dass das in der Regel prompt gefixt wird.
