What probably help more in Go is the lack of a central repo so you actually need to "go get github.com/whoever..." so typo squatting is a bit be a bit more complicated.

You're joking but when I was living in Asia, people would constantly tell me I looked like whatever random white celebs they saw last from Brad pit, Di caprio, George Clooney or Wentworth miller from a fan of prison break and so on, and I even got Vladimir Poutine a few times.
