yes, same here, I subscribed to a portuguese community but I can't see any posts, I'm guessing this is the reason.

might be something to do with language tags, if the post is tagged with a language not selected in your profile you won't see the post.

I haven't figured out yet how to add more languages to the profile selector though.

I would create a separate instance for this, I don't think anybody wants their instance to be flooded with automated posts.
