Which competition would be the easiest or most likely one for a regular person/you to (1) make into the Olympics and (2) actually be competitive?
  • Was watching Denmark v. France last week. France got a penalty, and Denmark subbed in a very rotund goalkeeper for the penalty, then Immediately subbed him back out.

So, just get hella chonky and go join your country's handball team.

Real talk, I wish Handball was more widely played in the US. I have the right build and good hand-eye coordination for (non-goalie) Handball.

  • So nice of you to do this! I see other comments suggesting TRI-III remastered runs well on Deck, so I would love a chance to give that a go!

I just finished Horizon: Forbidden West last week (playing the DLC now), and it left me with mixed feelings. I loved the story of the first game so much, and was so excited when FW came to PC, but it just did not hit the same way. RIP Lance Reddick, anytime Sylens was in the story it was a treat.

  • Engine maker Cummins to repair 600,000 Ram trucks in $2 billion emissions cheating scandal
  • There probably won't be a decrease in power, as it was likely an aftertreatment issue (sizing, durability, cost cutting) that made them decide to use a defeat device. Cummins would retrofit every cheating engine with a brand new aftertreatment system at great cost rather than reduce the power of their engines. The brand damage of reducing power would far outweigh any repair and warranty costs.

  • Very likely. Higher NOx out of the engine generally means lower fuel consumption, so the fix will likely decrease the real world mpg that owners were seeing.

I've not yet seen any technical information on the defeat device, but from my time in the industry I can make an educated guess how it will play out

  • Are almost all mobile games bad?
  • It's been years, and I see that it contains ads now, but I absolutely loved Super Stickman Golf 1 and 2. It is a simple 2D golf platformer with a ton of courses (at my time of last play you could download like 15 extra courses individually, on top of 6 or so to start). I'm sure it has been ruined by the freemium model, but it was a joy back in the day.

  • Are almost all mobile games bad?
  • Into the Breach is a perfect game for mobile. Haven't played it on Android (I have it on my Switch), but it reminds me of playing a ROM of Final Fantasy Tactics on my phone and it was perfect. And that was 10 years ago, so Smartphone technology has come a long way since then.

  • Is having an Android really a deal-breaker for some people?
  • I had this experience in a family chat with some iPhones and some Androids. The funny thing is, it seems to be the iPhones that will miss pictures/message rather than the Androids. I'm not sure how that would pressure me (Android user) to switch.
