It's Tuesday, what made you happy last week?
  • In my case it isn't broken. It is firmly attached to the toilet. It has a slow closing lid. Lastly, for the first time I tried a wooden, instead of plastic, core. The seat doesn't feel as cold, and just feels solid. It is the little things. The last seat lasted at least 10 years, so the difference in price between the cheap one at $26 and the premium one at $35 wasn't really a factor.

  • Logging: How can I discover what process had ran under a PID, if the process was killed?
  • There are some monitoring tools which take a snapshot of the process table every few minutes. If you happen to run one of those, and your process happens to be running when the snapshots is taken you can catch it.

If this is a postgresql server and you have logging turned up with pids being logged, and the pin in question was a database process, you can probably find it in the database logs.

  • Jill Stein is a plant to nobody's surprise.
  • This does seem like a stretch. We definitely need forces pulling the ruling party to the left to counteract forces pulling them to the right. With AOC and Bernie softening their tone, and most of the squad eradicated by AIPAC, the balance is off. I wish the Greens had come up with someone fresh instead of running Stein yet again.

  • How do I alleviate bitterness due to lack of intimacy?
  • Most people's body will change as they age. I haven't met many who don't age or never get injured or both. Selecting a partner primarily based on their current appearance means you are using criteria suitable only for short term relationships.
