I hate super hero movies ..do you know what I do? I don't watch them..there's nothing to be saved ...studios will stop making those terrible movies once people stop watching them..if there is a lot of audience there's no meaning in stop producing..

Sorry,I had just waken up and my lemmy app (jerboa) is terrible when erasing words..got some punctuation erased.

I always choose the 12 subscribers Indian guy first when I need a good too specific step by step tutorial ..theyre the best!

Last time I tried aws, took me like four hours to figure that I had to borrow another IP address (different than the ip I received when created the instance) in order point it at my domain. Took me a long time find that option in the menu too

Saw that just after tweaking the script to get the pt-br entry of the json object so I didn't change to pt website

O stepped into this a couples days ago looking for a weather info to waybar and found this python script with wttr ...with a couple tweaks and some documentation reading I got it to work really easily in Portuguese

You're right.. But I don't have an ssd in my machine and didn't want tons of mounted filesystems in my 10 year old machine..I'm far from an expert but seems to me that is simpler to have all my packages from dnf or apt ..I've changed to fedora because dnf seemed better than apt resolving dependencies ..not just because of the snap thing

Sure..I wouldnt choose fedora for a server..maybe RHEL..I chose debian for my home server..can't go wrong with debian in the server 😅

That's why I moved to fedora recently...didn't like to see 30 or so mounted filesystems every time I did an fdisk -l to mount some disk

If you run it bare metal (not in a dockercontainers for example) it's quite easy to set it up on a raspberry pi or other hardware. The wife would even know it's existence if you don't tell her and use a standard config in the blocklists ..give it a try ..you're gonna love it

No way I didn't see that! I thought it was while using the English keyboard since it doesn't happen in message apps and the only place I use English keyboard is in Lemmy (jerboa) .. I'll switch to other app
