Just to give some context here.
Due to due hightend situation and the risk of further violence, the mayor of Amsterdam forbid all protests until Thursday.
The protest right in the Netherlands can be revoked temporarily (like a couple of days most) in very specific circumstances. It’s also only applicable to that city.
Believe me when i say, people protest their ass of here. Unions, farmers, climate activists and for stuff like the housing crisis for example.
And yeah our current federal government coalition is more pro Israel but they don’t have the power to just suddenly cancel our protest rights. That is up to local politicians and mayors.
Filthy NOD propaganda, find that bald and goatee wearing bastard.
My first gekoloniseerd on lemmy… i am humbled sir. Lets test your metal: Friet > Patat
Yeah I do agree that often the skills tend to be a stepping stone to the actual part of the content you want to get to.
Having said that I think it also depends on what you want to get out of the game. For most it’s doing X quest, having X gear or killing X monster. Its more rare for people to want to be able to chop redwood for example as a goal, because reaching it is very “boring” to most and it doesn’t amount to as much considering it’s “prestige/bragging rights, value, score”
Maybe that is part of why those skills are stepping stones. The end is much more hollow and boring compared to the learning curve of a combat skill which has this high skill ceiling facilitated by the bosses for example.
Hey guys, I am very new to this and currently have a neptune 3 plus sitting at home.
I tried a few test prints which went completely fine. But now I notice that one of the stepper motors is making a lot of noise (and vibrating) when it is idle. Is this an issue and how can I deal with it if it is one?
Hey guys,
I was wondering. With forestry on the horizon and having read all the articles about it, how do you guys currently feel about it?
I am personally quite excited for the “events” that can happen again, making the skill more than just a afk skill. I specifically remember back when we had the evil tree spirit and such I’d get really excited even though it wasn’t that intense or complex. To me it provided a nice break of pace while training the skill.
Curious what you guys think?
Tbh I think although they won’t be making a push for that right now on /r/2007scape, we can slowly improve and grow this community here which in time will entice people to switch.
Only if you cry “wolf” hard enough sadly. But yeah
My personal favorite would be almost the entire hunter skill. Not completely dead content of course but I feel like with how big the world is, they could really make it something fun and worthwhile.
If you guys had to choose one part of the game, that feels like dead content, for jagex to revamp, what would it be? Your reasons for choosing can be anything, the rewards, its potential or just a good idea
