Sorry, I love Reloaded. The only thing that really hurts it is the Smiths fight scene. The Zion dance scene admittedly may be a bit too long. The rest of the movie, especially the dinner->freeway scene rocks.

The gross politics of the GOP started with Nixon, and was driven to overtime after they lost power when Clinton took office by Rush Limbaugh, Murdock, and the like. That was the real turning point. Where we are is a progression to the GOP going more and more radical, but the seeds were always there. Honestly, I think Roe stood for so long because they weren't stupid enough to actually appeal it back then.

No, wasn't a good look politically, and I do agree with New Guinea the US should do more to recover our fallen soldiers whose remains are still missing on foreign soil. Glad this conversation can put a spotlight there. But this is a minor gaff, simple as that.
Let him appeal if he's convicted. If he is initially sentenced to prison, he's not allowed to post bail and will continue to serve. Hopefully it would take a while to get up to SCOTUS, and he can enjoy wearing orange to match the rest of him for at least that long.
He's required to be at the criminal trial, so no easy excuse.
