Right but take what you just said to it's logical conclusion. Why should only men have those responsibilities? All you've really done is create a different, nicer patriarchy, that still expects men to conform to specific gender roles and still expects women to conform to specific gender roles. Consider the inverse, all the people who physically can't produce more than they require to survive, who need additional attention or care, through no fault of their own. Can those people not be men?

You've described just a generally good person, and realistically you've described more women than you have men. The goal should be to get rid of the idea that certain responsibilities are reserved for certain genders completely.

I will say, you're complaining about community while only playing 1v1 versus games. I don't think anyone would call WWE 2k14 or the Tekken games really "community focused," and certainly not to the same level as games like World of Warcraft or Warframe. I'd even argue other PvP focused titles would offer better communities, as team-focused titles like Deadlock and Marvel Rivals incentivize players to seek out other players they enjoy playing with. Solo 1v1s just don't incentivize community in the same way.

There's also a part of this that could, if you were naive, be solved with time. My job gave me a solid raise last year, 4.9%. Assuming four years of Harris status quo could get inflation down to ~2.5%, and assuming I can maintain similar raises each year, I'd likely recover from the pandemic within the next four years. Inflation is a necessary evil, but when managed over time, it isn't a big issue. Should work for everyone right, stupid Trumpies just don't understand long-term economics!

Except it ignores that corporations are colluding in duopolies across many industries to steadily raise their prices above inflation to maintain profit growth. It ignores that landlords are treating maximum rent hikes as the expectation rather than the exception. It ignores that climate change is globally impacting our supply lines for food.

Inflation being healthy doesn't mean a damn thing when unchecked capitalism is left rampant. The Biden administration, to their credit, did weakly try to fight corporate interests. However, they did nothing to fight the fully captured Supreme Court, which made Biden's efforts so pitiful they resemble a controlled opposition.

There's a growing contingent of Democrats who are showing very MAGA traits. The types that demand everyone fall in line and vote how they say, without listening to any compromises. The types who believe that the issue is that the Democrats are playing too fairly, and should stoop to the Republicans level. The types who believe that the issue with Kamala Harris is that she was a black woman, and that diversity should have been ignored for a secured political win by running an old white dude. The types that blindly listen and defend media bought and paid for by wealthy capitalists because they think it represents "their side."

Realistically, the only thing stopping these people from being MAGAts is personal life circumstances. Maybe their high school bully was a Republican, or they know just enough economic theory to realize how stupid conservative ideas are, or their grandad worked in a union job. In truth, they are as tribalistic and as ignorant as a Trump supporter; their fervor is just to a D instead of an R.

You're watching the collapse of an empire. The citizens are getting desperate and scared, those of them that don't realize or understand the situation they're in even moreso. What you're seeing isn't driven by malice, it's just too difficult to care for others now. A lotta my friends struggle to pay rent every month and keep food in their mouths. We walk around with the knowledge a stranger could freak out and gun us down at any moment. Is it any wonder that they are numb to violence, numb to threats, even numb to the fear of death?

Once you get that numb and hollow, you cut what's extraneous away and focus on your own survival. Americans are, broadly speaking, panicked animals. The worse things get, the more panicked and desperate they'll become, and the less they'll care about standards and morals in the pursuit of survival.

If I was very desperate and my current job no longer sufficed, sure I'd hop on OnlyFans or FeetFinder and give it a go. The problem I have is more one of laziness. I like showing off my body, and spend a good amount of time cultivating parts like my ass and thighs to look attractive. The limiting factor is that I don't have anyone to hold a camera. I'd argue this is the clearest evidence we've received that Elon has narcissistic personality disorder. These are the actions of someone who is suffering from a mental illness. He needs validation from his army of followers for the insane, grandiose claims that he makes, and doesn't feel the need to spend even a modicum of effort on making his lies seem believable.

You're maybe in the vast minority of normies, but I think a lot of gamers have actually realized how lame Skyrim is. There's certainly hours long rants on Youtube breaking down each little issue the game has, as well as examining it from the perspective of modern game design and as a failure of the Elder Scrolls brand, but beyond that; is anyone really holding up vanilla Skyrim as the pinnacle of gaming any more? Even Bethesda realized it needs mods to be enjoyable.

So the joke here isn't sampling, it's the idea of being "featured" on a track. Idk Khaled enough to know if this would be too extreme an example, but imagine a lesser known hiphop artist making nearly 100% of a song. Then Khaled comes in, does a few whoops and hollers, maybe a few bars, but the song ends up on a Khaled album. The lesser known artist is credited as "featured" on the track, even if it was mostly their work.
