    This is one of the biggest positive differences at the moment. We are still (mostly) too small to be worth investing with botnets. You get a lot more actual human interaction here.

  • I love the aughts fashion, the use of the word “victim,” and the fact that “finger-guns” gets a hyperlink in the last caption. The woman in the photo gives an Oscar-worthy performance in the final image — she looks like she’s on the verge of tears — and her male counterpart couldn’t look more smug. The pictures are endearing and capture a kind of humanity you don’t find in your average stock photo.

  • This has also been an issue for me. I'd love a confirmation dialogue when exiting a comment/post window if you have typed something, like "Exit? Yes/No/Save Draft". And of course mass deleting saved drafts would be good. I do it manually in batches but it's quite bothersome.

  • The STALKER games do this for me, STALKER Anomaly does as well (although you gotta mod that). The Metro games too, if you want something tighter and more cinematic.

  • Not just Day 1 patches but continued post-launch support too. And DLCs. Back in the times before the internet a game would release and that was it. The disc was the whole game and all it would ever be. We're not there anymore.

    Also, discs degrade really fast anyway, it's not an amazing long term storage medium. I'd rather the GOG model of offline DRM free installers you can store on your own, in terms of game preservation, than forcing production of discs.

  • I do feel nauseous when eating sugar too after weaning myself off it years ago, but I don't mind it. It's easier to just not eat sweets at all. That means I don't have to think too much about counting calories either.
