Listen, the only way to protect women is to systematically harass trans-women. And the only way to systematically harass trans-women is to systematically harass all women. That's just how to protect women! There's literally no other way!
Well dang, that's unexpected but extremely delightful news. It'd been a few years so I assumed this show was long-gone.
"Not trying to be political"? The whole point of that book was political.
I assume those would be 2nd-hand as well? Which kind of misses the point of wanting to support the creators since that money won't be going to them.
It is true that the Earth is round, much like it's true that an ongoing genocide against white people is occuring in South Africa.
How long until they're cleared of all wrongdoing?
I think his point was more that politicians are just so used to coverups and lying that they do it even when it's right in front of our faces. We could see for our own eyes that Biden was unfit to run, but were gaslit up until the debate when he stood down.
And the same things are all true of Trump; we can see with our own eyes how unqualified he is, but everyone insists on pretending otherwise.
Alternatively: the one that explained the riddle is a liar, and they both lie.
I just finished binging all of Voyager a couple days ago, and while the Seven and Chekotay came out of nowhere at the end, I didn't really see any romantic chemistry between her and Janeway. Kind of felt more like a mother-daughter relationship to me.
I sent it through the post office, yeah. The wait time is "up to 12 weeks" and I'm halfway through week 9 now.
Been working on it for the past 6 months. Part of the process for applying for Permanent Residence is a background check by the FBI though, and they're really dragging their feet on mine.
Why does it go by French names rather than Latin or even Italian?
I'd try and hold my breath to not set off the European diseases into America early.
I guess by that standard, I made a "pretty big concession" by not doing that 3rd push-up. I totally could have, promise.
I do like the idea this comic had, but god was it hamfisted. The teacher seemed to have not even read the new lesson plan, and the comic retcons Mai's friendship with Azula to have been entirely one-sided. (Also, Mai being a teacher is a fun idea, but she didn't end up teaching any version of history and just showed the kids how to work with beetles.)
How long before it's unceremoniously cancelled?
Slightly bugs me that the KKK hat is before the Confederate hat; it was so close to being in chronological order.
I didn't expect to like this as much as I did, but it's one of my top 2 so far for the season (the other being the new Uma Musume; they both have good slice-of-life elements and personable characters).
No mention of Chronicles of the Going Home Club? Total miss.

For a while now I've really been into an old Star Wars system called Saga Edition that I appreciate greatly for its ability to really customize a character. A major part of that customization comes from its use of a talent system instead of most other systems that automatically assign class features, and I'm curious if there are any other ttrpgs that use talents.
I'm pretty sure the Dragon Age ttrpg also uses them, but what other systems do, and are any of them still actively being produced?
