Thank you for commenting in a thought-provoking and somewhat disturbing manner!

I got that exact setup and I'm playing without any issues at all. I run the game natively with gamemode as the only launch parameter. One difference might be that I have an AMD GPU but nothing else besides that. It might be driver related but I'm no expert by any means. Maybe there's people with similar experiences on ProtonDB?
Wow, thank you all so much for the advice and insights you've shared! Your answers helped me tremendously in gaining a better understanding and it's been super fun to read them all! I think I'll pick up Sonic x Shadow Generations first and work my way through the other titles if I enjoy it, which I'm sure I will. Can't wait to properly dive into the franchise! Oh, and I'll definitely read those comics that were mentioned, they sound like a lot of fun. Thanks again, I'm really grateful :D
I can assure you that I'm not a bot.
Is there anything else I can help you with?
Not having played any games related to the Sonic franchise before, I picked up The Murder of Sonic the Hedgehog and played through it in one sitting after having read about it in a post here on Lemmy. Safe to say, I absolutely loved every second of it. The art style, the characters and their dynamics, the murder mystery setting and the music. God, the music is bloody amazing, I've been listening to the OST nonstop. Anyway, the whole experience got me interested in the franchise the game is based on. I understand that TMOSTH was released as an April fools joke, making it quite different from the other games. Nevertheless I assume that especially the characters and music are of similar quality in the other entries. The issue I now have at hand is that due to my lack of knowledge about these games I'm unsure which ones to begin with and which ones to prefer or even avoid. Lists that I found online have been rather inconclusive and partially confusing to me. For this reason I'm looking for advice through this post. What's a good starting point based on the aspects important to me and the experience I described? I suppose it is also important to note that my only gaming platform is a PC. I appreciate you reading through this post and thanks for any advice! <3

Respekt, dass die Gemeinschaft tatsächlich gegründet wurde. (Mal wieder erfolgreich die Verantwortung auf jemand anderen geschoben, juhu)
Um Gottes willen, da müsste ich ja Verantwortung übernehmen.
The new Stalker game seems to be running just fine on steam if ProtonDB is anything to go by. Nevertheless, I'd prefer to purchase the game on GOG and unfortunately I have yet to see any posts anywhere about how that version runs via Lutris as an example. I don't expect there to be any issues but it would be nice to hear from people who've attempted to play it that way. Cheers.
I'm thinking about buying a 3D printer for creating cosplay props like helmets and armor pieces (only once I figure things out, I'll start small of course) among other things and since there is a sale on the Ender 3 V3 series and they seem to be well received I figured that it would make sense to buy one. Having done some research, it seems like the regular V3 with it's 220x220x250mm build volume is too small for what I'm planning to do. Though splitting some parts will of course still be required, from what I could gather the V3 Plus better matches the recommended build volume having one of 300x300x330mm. The sale puts it at about the original price of the regular V3 which works for my budget.
I'd love to hear some thoughts on this, since my knowledge is limited as well as theoretical and the quality of internet sources varies quite heavily.
