Bulletins and News Discussion from August 14th to August 20th, 2023 - America's War On Pipelines
  • The average US military grunt gets treated like absolute shit, and the culture makes that the whole point. Follow that trail all the way up and you can see why they allow barracks to fall into disrepair and why they neglect to consider at all feeding the troops domestically. It's very much the sense of hyper-individualism striking again, "they get paid, they can find their own food" without sparing a glance at what that entails.

  • Every military base I've been on has had a wendy's and every foreign US base I've been on has had some form of Applebees or equivalent Amerikkan restaurant.

  • If the experience of being a host is basically getting mind altering levels of high and watching alien vlogs I'm more than down for that.

  • If you could make a good faith effort to lurk around occasionally I think you'll have a different opinion. Please take a moment and look at how and what information we share with each other and you'll see we're not what we've been made out to be. No propaganda, no authoritarianism. You'll see careful deconstructions of propaganda and maybe obtain an understanding of the correct usage of authoritarianism. Most importantly you'll see we're regular leftist shitposters, we just read theory

  • That tater tot casserole is pretty good too, ngl. And easy to make vegan.

  • Ukraine to fire all regional military recruitment chiefs
  • NATO started this war by intentionally instigating Russia into conflict, using Ukraine as a proxy. Multiple times NATO have stood in the way of peace talks. That’s terrorism.

Russia, defending ethnically Russian peoples against a state government hostile to their continued existence, and guarding against being encircled by NATO is not terrorism it’s kindergarten level geopolitics

  • For a while crypto and tech bro’s had me anti-technology. Part of my awakening to the left was the growing sense that maybe the way capitalism drives technology use is fucked up. At the time those thoughts just put me into a dark spiral of doomerism until I found this lot. 🩵 Socialism could make such better use of technology if it was aligned towards anything but the advancement of the capital class.

  • Ukraine to fire all regional military recruitment chiefs
  • NATO encircled a world power and for the last couple decades have worked to instigate a war that has led to the slaughter of hundreds of thousands of people on the gamble that Russia would fall and allow the west to loot the country, exactly as they plan to loot a war torn Ukraine. For capitalism.

    You’re pro-NATO terrorism, it’s not a good look.

  • Ukraine to fire all regional military recruitment chiefs
  • NATO - starts wars and keeps the meat grinder rolling all in the furtherance of capitalist dogma - you sleep

Russia - literally just exists - you wake

NATO’s #1 export is war and that's why NATO is hated around the world. Y'all just give people more reason to hate NATO.

  • I’m sure it does, I built this computer back in 2011 (probably actually closer to 2013 thinking about it) with a 980, a few years back the 980 died and I replaced it with whatever I could get, ended up being a 2070super. Hopefully it’ll keep limping along, I’d like to get a new mobo/cpu going at some point

I love how simple and reliable mint is, but I’ve been playing around with arch to branch out, I’ll have to check out debian!
