The "-ology" books? My parents kept my set of those in a box for however many years - at least 15 - and they've been passed on to my niece and nephew.
I am not going to lie, they still capture my attention the same way now. And I still remember the answers to all the riddles in Dragonology.

These are not alike. We are talking about individuals choosing for themselves, before they die. If you choose not to share when you pass, why would you be prioritised over someone who was willing?
Genuinely held beliefs or not, religion and spirituality have no role to play in the survival of a community system.
I'm sorry you have to deal with that. I have been in a similar position in the past. We are in a better place now and sober - what came out of my partner at their worst is not reflective of their true feelings, it was reflective of the traumatic environment they were raised in.
